Individual knights, noble families, and organizations used them to represent their values, heritage, and achievements. Each element had meaning, from the animals and colors to the shields and mottos, making them a deeply personal mark of distinction.

Likewise, trees, which were less common in medieval heraldry, originally stood for strength, virtue, and/or peace, these days they are also requested because they symbolize family, stability, wisdom, longevity, spirituality, and interconnectedness, as well as our love for nature and environmental values.

1. Reach Out – Contact me with your briefing, desired time-frame, image references, and inspiration to help shape your vision.
2. Discussion & Quote – I’ll ask a few questions, calculate a quote, and once we agree, you’ll be placed in the queue.
3. Payment & Milestones – Project are usually split into two milestones or more depending on complexity: Sketches, Final Work and other versions when applicable. Deposit for the first milestone is required before I begin.
4. Sketching & Feedback – I create sketches, and we go through revisions as needed. The level of back-and-forth depends on the complexity of the project.
5. Final Work & Payment – Once you approve the final sketch and make the last payment, I complete the final artwork. No major changes should be requested after this stage.
6. Delivery – The finished piece will be sent via Dropbox or Google Drive.
